Care Service Manager

CARE SERVICE MANAGER - £35K - £38K + CAR ALLOWANCE/COMPANY CAR - 2 YEARS CONTRACT

Our client, a well-established high quality Housing & Care provider in Scotland is now looking to recruit an experienced Care Service Manager to lead, manage and support their care services in the Glasgow area. You will need to have a full clean driving licence and have excellent experience working within the care sector at senior manager level. Client base is within the older people sector and within supported living in their own homes.

You will need to be qualified to senior management level and hold a leadership & management qualification have excellent communication skills and be fully compliant with the regulations and standards. Ideally you will be based in the Glasgow area and have good local knowledge as you will be communicating with care managers, local authorities regulators and stakeholders. You will also need to have good experience managing complex budgets, be able to manage 'change' and large scale projects into operational service delivery teams.

Our client is keen for the business to develop further so you will need excellent business development experience and customer service skills as you will be attending meetings with local authorities, health trusts and other decision makers regarding contracts and new business opportunities. You will need to have the ability to continue raising the already high standards throughout the Glasgow area to a level of excellence and look to continued staff recruitment and development to increase the business further.

Excellent IT skills and organisational skills will be needed to fulfil this exciting and challenging role and our client is looking for a senior manager who is able to hit the ground running! The job is fast moving, demanding and challenging but it is also very rewarding for a senior manager who feels genuinely passionate about delivering a high quality service to vulnerable people and who wishes to work with a care provider who is expanding and who is a leader in the housing & care sector in Scotland.
