The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Taking High Volume Inbound Calls
- Medical Terminology
- Accurate data entry at 40 WPM
What You'll Be Doing:
- Answering inbound calls from customers and rerouting calls
- Answering high inbound Calls in a Call Center
- Provide clerical and data entry support for Members
- Check eligibility and verify benefits
- Verify inpatient hospital census-admits and discharges
- Meet department quality standards, including inter-rater reliability (IRR) testing and quality review audit scores
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- High School Diploma
- Must have Medical Terminology Experience
- Two to five (2 - 5) years of experience working in a Healthcare Call Center
- Must be able to type at least 40 WPM
- Simple Data Entry and Filing
- Knowledge of applicable state, and federal regulations
- Familiarity with NCQA standards, regulations and measurement techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
