Care Review Clinician Job

CARE REVIEW CLINICIAN needed for a Contract Job opportunity with Yoh's client located in Long Beach, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Process authorizations/requests and determine medical necessity
- Primarily responsible for inpatient medical necessity/utilization review
- Provide daily review and evaluation of members that require hospitalization and/or procedures providing prior authorizations
- Also, be able to assess services for Health Group Members to ensure optimum outcomes and cost effectiveness for care throughout the inpatient stay.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Best qualified candidate will have two to three (2 - 3) years of experience as an LVN, dealing with Clinical Care, Concurrent review, precertification authorization and care management.
- Furthermore, that candidate will understand the aspects of Case Management and the communication needed to be an effective team member to accomplish the goals for the organization.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Hospital or occupational health experience would be best suited for this role
