CARDS DOMAIN SPECIALIST - LEADING RETAIL BANK, ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

My client, a leading retail bank in the United Arab Emirates region, require a Technical Specialist to join the Credit/Debit cards area within IT for our Financial Services client in Abu Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to become a Domain Specialist in this busy and rewarding environment working on Debit and Credit Card applications with 3rd party providers in addition to the bank.

You'll be responsible for any impact or changes to debit or credit card applications across the full project life cycle. You'll become the domain specialist for Debit and Credit Card Applications and be the point of contact with both internal and external technical teams for any issues throughout various projects.

The ideal candidate will require good knowledge within the following specialities;

- Issue of Cards
- Prepaid and Postpaid cards
- Support the cards operations - ON US and OFF US transactions
- Local Switch based Cards transactions
- Settlements - Local and Overseas
- Reconciliations
- Liaise with AMEX/Diners/MasterCard/VISA/CUP
- Cards Delinquency
- Cards Business Accounting
- Cards monitoring as the same is Outsourced
- Cards Chargeback - wrong settlements/payment or double payments
- Cards Chargeback - Acquiring
- Merchants - Onboarding/Transactions/Settlements - Direct and Indirect Merchant settlements

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience within a banking environment in the Cards domain
- Technical experience working within a range of software development life cycle
- Technical experience of Debit &/or Credit Card processing environments
- Proven technical integration, analysis and design skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast changing environment
- Prior local experience preferred
