Car Test Lead (SDET) Job

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT IN TEST (SDET) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's Gaming client located in Redmond, WA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- SDET will work closely with artists, PMs, developers, as well as a team of local and remote testers. This job requires a strong technical candidate with experience building test plans around new technology, and attaining high quality bars.
- Develop creative and comprehensive test strategies, plans and solutions
- SDET will Debug build failures, test failures, and system configurations
- Identify areas for improvement in current test tools and processes
- SDET will Coordinate a team of local and remote testers across a large number of deliverables and deadlines
- Track test pass progress, test completion, and deliverable qualities across numerous releases
- Partner with Art and PM to own the final quality for our shipping assets

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Seeking an experienced SDET who wants to make a big impact on the quality of our client's titles.
- This person should have experience working in game development and directing teams of STE testers.
- Candidates will benefit from having deep and broad knowledge about cars and car culture including tuning, upgrades, modifications, exotics, classics, and everything in between.
- Five (5) plus years of experience in software testing
- Two (2) plus years as an SDET programming in C#
- Experience with build systems and source control management
- Comfortable with Scripting languages such as PowerShell
- Debug test failures, debug asset propagation failures, and find solutions to these issues
- Experience working with developers and specifications to come up with requirements, and translating those requirements into solid test passes
- Excellent communication and cross-group collaboration skills
- Strong in debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and work efficiently in an agile environment
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and test driven development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- History working on and shipping a AAA rated game title is a major is a plus
