Captiva Developer (France)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The individual will design, code, test, implement, document, and maintain software application code for client using captiva technologies. This is an Application Developer position that requires strong analysis, design and development skills.

- As a developer, the candidate will analyze, design, develop, and maintain captiva applications eDoc and eAT.
- The Developer is responsible for translating requirements into high-quality software products, conducting unit and integrated testing, and completing documentation. Job also includes technical support for help desk tickets to resolve data or logic problems, and customer interface.

SKILLS

- EMC Captiva/Dispatcher 6.5 expertise with high document volume Captiva implementations
- Experience with InputAccel environments and InputAccel client module connectivity and usage
- Extensive experience with Captiva module configurations, most notably ScanPlus and Documentum Advanced Export.
- Experience with Captiva IPP VBA Scripting, integrating complex business logic into the process flow along with automated error handling
- Experience with Dispatcher 6.5 Modules, including Dispatcher template creation
- Extensive experience with SQL and ODBC
- Understanding of InputAccel's IADB database
- Experience with Image file compression and conversion
- Understanding of metadata concepts and the integration with external interfaces
- Client Server architecture knowledge
- Workstation and Server application knowledge
- Document Imaging experience
- Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions
- High attention to detail and ability to test own work
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to describe technical details clearly and concisely
