Capex Accounting & Process Management

My client who are a leading name in their field are currently looking for a Capex Accounting & Process Management to join them.

Role:
Support the process manager for Projects and Capex in the UK in the lead up to and through year end. Support the development and execution of processes to maximise operational efficiency and effectiveness, and ensures that process outputs meet all internal and external stakeholder requirements.
Working within the capex team, making accounting decisions for standard and non-standard requests, ensuring smooth month end processing and helping maintain system data integrity.

Depending on which part of General Accounting they operate, Financial Accountants will
typically contribute to one or more these key tasks:
* Management of a timely monthly close cycle including the efficient and accurate
maintenance of feeder system interfaces into the General ledger

maintenance of feeder system interfaces into the General ledger
* Maintenance of Chart of accounts, changes to master data, cost & profit centre structures
and WBS elements
* Management of Fixed asset register to ensure a robust Fixed Asset and depreciation
* Comply with all internal and external requirements for the General Accounting area of
responsibility.
