Capacity Manager - Leeds, Yorkshire

Experienced CAPACITY MANAGER required for government organisation based in LEEDS, YORKSHIRE

CANDIDATES MUST DEMONSTRATE SIGNIFICANT AND RECENT EXPERIENCE IN A CAPACITY MANAGEMENT ROLE

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Reviewing and assuring supplier Capacity processes, plans and related documentation. This includes the review of the annual capacity plans, monthly capacity status summaries, business capacity forecasts, capacity modelling and service improvement activities.

Reviewing monthly capacity summaries with major suppliers. This is a 24 month forecast of capacity for supplier services which includes actual, contracted metrics, forecast and trending. Comparisons are made between actual and forecasts and any issues identified and mitigated against.

Completing testing with suppliers. This covers a range of different technical tests including scalability, volume and performance, soak and load testing

Reviewing of technical design documentation at various stages throughout the development life cycle into service acceptance

Ownership of all capacity management requirements with a minimum annual review of these requirements/gap analysis against industry best practice. This activity is also carried out after any major changes.

Delivery of prioritised service improvements, via an effective plan for both internal capacity management related improvement and supplier owned improvements

Provide Service Delivery/Service Management and associated contract schedule expertise to the organisation.

Provide subject matter expertise on Capacity Management for all other areas of the organisation including service management, technology office, programme teams and commercial.
