Strong analysis and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, adapting as needed to technical and executive audiences
Demonstrated experience with capacity planning tools and techniques, performance analysis and performance modelling
Hands on experience with commercial or ad hoc performance modelling tools. TeamQuest experience is a plus.
Significant experience in software design and architecture
In-depth knowledge of software components, including Linux/Unix operating systems, Middleware and web container technologies, database technologies, and network interfaces
General knowledge of data center hardware technologies and operational techniques, a few examples include SANs, Load Balancers, DNS, LDAP, UPS systems, racks/blades/Servers, etc.
