Capacity and Storage Technical Specialist

Our client, a financial services sector organisation based in Glasgow require a contract Capacity Technical Specialist for an initial 6 month piece of work. The candidate will sit within the Capacity Management team and will be required to analyse data, identify performance issues, provide input into capacity plans and support various projects providing technical Storage and Capacity assistance as required.

To be successful in this position, candidates MUST have the following skills and experience:

- BMC Performance Analysis Tool set experience (Performance Assurance, Visualiser and Automator).
- Understanding of standard capacity and performance management methodologies including, Base-lining, Regression, Forecasting and Demand Planning.
- ITIL certified or at the very least an understanding of the ITIL Framework.
- Understanding of SQL and accessing data in databases
