THE CAMERA COMPONENT IMAGE QUALITY TESTING ENGINEER WILL:

- Capture mobile camera images for imaging R&D.
- Conduct image quality testing on mobile camera components, eg image sensor, camera lens and modules.
- Measure such image quality (IQ) factors as MTF, SNR, lens shading, geometric distortion, dynamic range, color aberration, color accuracy, etc.
- Run IQ analysis tools.
- Enter IQ data into database.
- Generate IQ comparison reports.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Familiarity with the operational principle of camera sensor, lens and modules, along with their related IQ factors
- Basic image processing knowledge
- Matlab, Imatest tool
- Microsoft Office
- Ability to provide hands-on in IQ testing

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Database experience
- Optics design experience
- PCB board diagnosis
- C programming
- Background/interest in photography
- Enthusiasm about camera image quality
- General knowledge about camera image processing pipeline

Years of experience required: 2 or more years
Degree Required: B.S in EE, CS, CE, ME, Imaging Science, Physics, Optics or related
