SALARY:- Up to 30 per hour dependant on experience

THE COMPANY:-

My Client, a leading developer and manufacturer of engine and drivetrain components for the international motorsport industry is currently recruiting for both a highly skilled and experienced CAM Delcam Programmer and CNC 5-Axis Machinists to join their team in Bicester.

THE ROLE:-

Delcam Programmer: This is a fantastic opportunity for an immediately available and highly experienced Delcam programmer with extensive experience of the CNC machining of metal (Steel & Titanium) to join this highly regarded precision engineering business on a 3-month contract.

Additional CAD/CAM experience/knowledge would be advantageous as would a background within the motorsport, automotive or aerospace industries.

5-Axis CNC Machinist: Responsibilities of the role will include:

•Setting up and operating machines (mainly DMG) in accordance with schedule provided to produce the highest quality machined components on time and to strict quality standards.

•Measuring parts, recording data and reporting deviations.

•Providing feedback on tooling and process performance and generating practical ideas to improve component manufacture and quality.

•Undertaking daily maintenance tasks.

Candidates must have experience using Heidenhain controls and also of 3-Axis machining. Previous experience within the Motorsport industry is highly desirable although applicants from other high-precision production environments will be considered.

WORKING HOURS:-

During busy periods some flexibility regarding working hours will be required. Standard working hours are 08:00 - 16:30 with a 30 minute meal break.
