Calypso Technical Analyst/Business Analyst

CALYPSO BACK OFFICE TECHNICAL ANALYST/BUSINESS ANALYST: CALYPSO BACK OFFICE TECHNICAL ANALYST/BUSINESS ANALYST is urgently required for a very long term project in Hong Kong.

The CALYPSO BACK OFFICE TECHNICAL ANALYST/BUSINESS ANALYST will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Gather business requirements and translate those into Calypso solutions
- Developing and designing a functional solution via collaboration with the business users that is aligned to the strategic architecture road map.
- Implement the solution (consisting of configuration, code or both) along with the team
- Create (automated) test cases for validating the solution
- Create user guides and provide training/user demos
- Support User Acceptance Testing
- Provide support in production environment in Shifts (Between 6 am - 8 pm) service window
- Set-up regression tests with Concordion

THE CALYPSO BACK OFFICE TECHNICAL ANALYST/BUSINESS ANALYST WILL IDEALLY CONFORM TO THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCES

- University level education
- At least 5 years of Calypso implementation experience
- Experience with implementation of the Calypso Back Office module
- Experience in Back Office domain is required
- Experience in financial market products (FX MM, Securities, IRD) is required
- Knowledge of FM settlement operations
- Experience with Java development in Calypso//Unix Shell Scripting is preferred; eg the ability to read and or write Java code
- Ability to bridge the communication gap between business and IT
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Experience with the (agile) scrum development methodology
- Experience in automated regression testing, release management.
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL.
