CALYPSO DEVELOPER -  SYDNEY CBD

OVERVIEW:

Our client is seeking n experienced CALYPSO DEVELOPER. This is an extensive program which is replacing the existing middle and Back Office infrastructure with Calypso. In this role you will be responsible for Custom Calypso development including the design and development of custom interfaces, workflows and engines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Custom Calypso Development including the design and implement of extensions and best practice
- Build relationships quickly with Technical and Non-Technical stakeholders
- Work closely with Operations team to be the SME for 3rd Level queries and problem solving
- Ability to guide and mentor more Junior team members

ABOUT YOU:

To be successful in this role as the CALYPSO DEVELOPER you will possess previous Calypso custom design and development experience, as well as a strong background in Java. You will have extensive financial services experience ideally across a broad range of traded products. In addition you will possess:

- Strong SQL and Database experience ideally with Oracle
- Shell Scripting experience
- Problem Solving and Attention to Details skills
- Experience with Toolsets such as Bamboo and Maven

This is a great opportunity for a CALYPSO DEVELOPER to join a leading program and be part of a significant transformation program. This is an initial 6 month contract position with potential for extension.
