Calypso Business Analyst/Test Analyst

Calypso business analyst/test analyst: Calypso business analyst/test analyst is urgently required to join a project focused on Interest Rate Swaps clearing.

The Calypso business analyst/test analyst must have demonstrable experience in functioning as a Calypso business analyst/test analyst within a test environment. A Calypso business analyst/test analyst who has functioned on both sides of the fence: BA/tester, would be ideal. The Calypso business analyst/test analyst should also have good Interest Rate Swap knowledge. Any experience of clearing is a bonus. Calypso v13 or 14 experience is a must. The Calypso business analyst/test analyst will ideally have experience of Calypso test tools and CAT test tools.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

- Knowledge of Calypso Analysis & Testing + 5 years
- Understands Financial Markets products and (Back Office) processing in general, including FXMM, Derivatives.
- Experience with business requirements gathering and translation into system specifications.
- Testing Experience +3 Years, hands-on experience with exploratory testing
- Team player, able to function in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle Databases
- Experience with regression testing and Integration testing
- Pro-active, enthusiastic and driven personality
- Coaching, mentoring and training skills
- Customer focus in combination with focus on results
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of structured test methods and processes
- Good issue management and resolution skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

- Experience with agile (OpenUp/SCRUM) or at least agile enthusiast
- Has worked in an international environment
- Technical oriented, coding or Scripting experience (eg Unix)
- Can analyse code
- Experience of lightweight tools and automated tools such QTP, Fitnesse, Selenium and Watir would be useful
