CAD Technician Job

CAD TECHNICIAN needed for a three (3) month+ CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Cambridge, MA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsibilities include preparation of architectural CAD files for use with CAFM system
- Creation of space polylines per established guidelines and methodology
- Use Autocad for mapping and block editing

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Technical school co-op student/graduate with formal AutoCAD training and one (1+) year of using AutoCAD as a Drafter/CAD operator in Architectural/Interior Design/Engineering firm working on renovation or new construction projects for healthcare, technology or education industries
- Advanced level of proficiency in AutoCAD 2012+ (formal training preferred).
- Experience with block editing, CAD Standards Tool and Layer Mapping techniques is required.
- Experience with Revit Architecture is a plus, but not essential.
- General level of proficiency with MS Office
