CAD Technician - Contract

Description of project (Site) including location

Initially based in Leeds City Centre before moving to site near Immingham in North East Lincolnshire, DN40 3JB

The project includes the upgrading a 2km single carriageway to a dual carriageway, improving an existing interchange to a grade separated junction, two new highway bridges and a rail bridge. The scheme also involves the construction of a new gyratory system. Significant earthworks, drainage and utility diversions are required to facilitate these improvement.

Description of vacancy:
Immediate start for an experienced CAD Technician with a leading Highways and Engineering Contractor on a contract basis This is a great opportunity for a Technician looking to make a move into a contract role and to work on a major Highways project. You should ideally have previous highway and traffic engineering CAD experience, preferably within the UK. You will be working on AutoCAD 2015 and the company are active users of Civils 3D so opportunities may arise where you can develop your skills in this area also.

Required Experience
A minimum of 5 years AutoCAD experience and educated to HNC standard.

Desirable Experience
Experience on major highways schemes for the Highways Agency.
