CAD Technician, Autocad, Highways and Transport, Contract, South West

CAD TECHNICIAN, AUTOCAD, HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORT, CONTRACT, SOUTH WEST LONDON

CAD Technician required for an initial 3-9 Month contract to be based from my client offices in South West London

The main purpose of this position is to provide drafting service to support engineering design within one of the technical terms within the Transport and Highways service using AutoCAD and ArcMap (the corporate GIS system).

Essential skills and experience are;

You must have the ability to word process documents with accuracy. Must be IT literate knowledge of all MS programmes, CAD (AutoCAD), GIS (Arcview) and other IT databases.

Experience of amending and producing drawings in CAD, and obtaining relevant information from databases for legal purposes such as GIS.

Please note that my client is also seeking a number of experienced Transport and Highways Engineers.

Experience working within the Local Authorities sector will be looked on favourably.
