CAD Technician

CAD TECHNICIAN

A major energy company in the Bedford is looking for a CAD Technician to join them on an initial 3-6 month contract basis.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) software
-

A knowledge of Mechanical building services systems, particularly heating, with extensive experience in a building services contracting or consultancy environment.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

- Experience with 3D AutoCAD/Revit would be beneficial

DAY TO DAY ROLE:

Your day to day role as CAD Technician will be split between the design of biomass/heat pump solutions and the development of standards and systems to improve the company's productivity in the future. This includes the production of mechanical and electrical drawings plus the development of drawing design standards and drafting procedures.

RATE: NEGOTIABLE

LENGTH: 3-6 months
