CAD Technician

CAD Technician - Geometric Data - HNC/HND - Service Protection - CAD/BIM/GIS

My client, a major airport is currently looking for a CAD Technician on a 6 month contract paying £200 p/d.

Responsibilities:

- Maintaining building and GIS Masterplan data
- Validating the compliance of supplied as-built data with Standards and providing feedback on data quality issues
- Integrating updated services information from contractors working Ensuring information is updated in Map Live.
- Updating Heathrow Map Live with details of Service Protection boundaries so that the business always has a live view of who has permission to work where.

Requirements:

- Educated to a HNC/HND level in an engineering discipline or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in an engineering design, surveying, construction or maintenance environment.
- An understanding of the principles of effective Service Protection and its importance to the business.
