CAD System Specialist III Job

CAD SYSTEM SPECIALIST III needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ALLENTOWN, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- CAD Administrator experience.
- Intergraph, PDS or Microstation experience.
- Windows OS and Citrix knowledge.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The CAD System Specialist is a member of a team supporting and improving a variety of CAD applications.
- The team member is involved in day-to-day tasks of providing technical support for end-users and application administration, but also is involved in projects to improve the engineering design process through the customization of CAD Programs and development of supporting applications.
- "Front line" user support for a variety of engineering design CAD applications.
- Maintain CAD computing environment through installation and administration of CAD applications, Servers, databases and end user PCs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 2-10 years experience using or supporting one or more of the following tools: Intergraph Smart 3D, PDS, SmartPlant PID, SmartPlant Instrumentation, Bentley Microstation.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement in design processes and assist in creating and implementing solutions.
- Solid understanding of Windows OS.
- Experience with a SmartPlant Enterprise integrated tool environment.
- Experience working in a Citrix environment.
- Programming experience, preferably with Microsoft C#.net, C++ and/or MDL.
- Knowledge of Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server database.
