CAD Specialist/PCB Designer Job

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a CAD SPECIALIST/PCB DESIGNER to join our client in Portland, Oregon.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- CAD Specialist/PCB Designer will design of moderate to complex multi-layer PCB Layouts for multiple product ranges.
- CAD Specialist/PCB Designer will work closely with Engineering Department to optimize layout, providing feedback on design performance, DFA and DFM levels.
- CAD Specialist/PCB Designer will provide technical expertise on PCB Design and make appropriate recommendations and decisions.
- CAD Specialist/PCB Designer will manage and sustain existing CAD/PCB libraries.
- CAD Specialist/PCB Designer will provide librarian support services for Cadence Concept/Allegro tools.

Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 plus years of industry experience in PCB CAD layout and Design
- MINIMUM FIVE (5) YEARS CADENCE ALLEGRO CAD SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
- MUST HAVE CADENCE ALLEGRO V16 OR ABOVE EXPERIENCE.
- Knowledge of XP Server and Library database mirroring scripts
- MS Outlook, EXCEL, POWERPOINT and WORD proficiency
- Familiar with signal integrity issues, power distribution techniques, modern processors, Gigabit busses like PCI-E, DDR2, and DDR3.
- Proficiency with advanced board design/layout, familiar with high density BGA's, blind and buried vias.
