CAD Operator - Entry Level Job

CAD OPERATOR - ENTRY LEVEL needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ST. LOUIS, MO.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Solidworks experience.
- Associates degree.
- MS Office experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Opportunity for an individual that can work under the direction of scientists and engineers with the independence expected to complete tasks assigned.
- Transforms initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents.
- This candidate will doing about 60% CAD work and the other 40% assembling prototypes, taking measurements, researching products/vendors, running tests, help with lab organization and automation equipment, etc.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Little creativity is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- May require an associate's degree in a related area or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Requires zero to three (0-3) years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- A successful applicant must have excellent electrical, mechanical, and computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to transform initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents.
- Must be proficient with Solidworks and PDM Vault.
- Applicant will be required to show a brief breadth of knowledge of Solidworks during interview.
