CAD Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a super high-visibility computer components brand seeking a CAD Engineer to support conceptual and/or product development of small electro-mechanical connectivity adapters and leadsets between computer motherboards and selective lab/diagnostic test equipment. Design and fabrication of fixtures, and/or assorted test board features may be needed to aid in lab testing or MFG test. May required some data acquisition and/or small scale plastic housing design.

OVERVIEW

- Work closely as part of a small team (daily interaction)
- Plan goals for specific time periods to be accomplished and execute to the time line
- Develop Pro/e concepts to present to engineers
- Part drawings
- Facilitate Bills of Materials
- Develop daisy chain patterns for test boards
- Perform tolerance analysis

REQUIREMENTS

- 6+ years relevant work experience
- Pro-Engineer Wildfire 4.0 CAD experience
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

NICE TO HAVE

- Pro-E Wildfire 5.0
- Familiarity with Cadence/Allegro Pro-E Windchill Database
- Mechanica or Cosmos FEA
