CAD Librarian

CAD LIBRARIAN HILLSBORO, OR 12 MONTH CONTRACT

This is a CAD Librarian position for a PCB design and layout. They will own designing and completing CAD physical and logic symbol request from HW designers and help manage the Allegro Design database. The will use skills in scripts to update database for corrections to symbols and overall database management. The will use their experience in CAD layout to assist in layout correction and DFM type analysis for PCB fabrication and assembly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Designing Concept schematic Symbols from part specs
- Designing and checking Allegro physical symbols form a part spec and design checklist
- Updating both CAD and Concept symbols into Allegro Library database
- Working with Europe and local HW Engineers on schematic formats database issues
- Working with request system to drive symbols design activities
- Implementing efficiency and process improvement to existing practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of an Associate's Degree
- 10 years minimum industry experience in PCB CAD layout and design
- 5 years Cadence Allegro CAD software experience
- Cadence Allegro V16 or above experience a must
- Knowledge of XP Server and Library database mirroring scripts
- MS Outlook, EXCEL, POWERPOINT and WORD proficiency
- Good communication and presentation skills
