CAD Engineer

Fantastic Opportunity for CAD design Engineer to join leading and successful defence organisation based in Barrow In-Furness. This professional will be able to develop and produce CAD models relevant to these unique defence projects; earning up to £22.75ph/Ltd on this 12 month contract.

Required to develop and produce 2D Diagrams utilising CAD toolset and be able to apply relevant Engineering processes to the integration of systems and equipment within 3D CAD Product Model.

*Develop and draw 2D Diagrams, utilising the relevant CAD tool-set.
*3D Integration within the CAD Product Model
*Produce other technical outputs consistent with contractual requirements
*Provide and produce relevant calculations.
*Produce drawing outputs from the 3D Model
*Perform self verification of own work
*Cross checking of peers and subordinates work
*Produce Process Standards

This professional will ideally have:

*Experience of: Submarines, Nuclear, Defence, Power Industry or Oil and Gas
*Be able to produce 2D diagrams, utilising the relevant CAD tool-set
*Be able to apply the relevant Engineering processes regarding the integration, of the relevant, systems and equipment within the 3D CAD Product Model.
*Show knowledge of one or more of the following areas, Air Systems, Fluid Systems, Fire Fighting Systems, and Instrumentation (relevant to Machinery Control and Instrumentation).
*Perform the relevant calculations with the regard to the above areas

Due to the nature of the role candidates will need to be security clearable, and provide evidence of this through gaining SC clearance to high level.
