CAD Drafter/Designer (Solidworks/ProE)

Yoh has an excellent 12 month contract opportunity for a CAD DRAFTER/DESIGN to join our client located in Salt Lake City, UT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The CAD Designer/Drafter will use and be proficient with Solidworks 2010 or newer and AutoCAD.
- The worker will be processing Engineering documentation related to drawings of existing tooling and fixtures.
- Computer Aided Design Technician to assist with creation and maintenance of product, equipment, and facility related files (drawings, models, assemblies).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Expert level proficiency in SolidWorks 2010 or later.
- Three (3+) years of experience in drafting/CAD in manufacturing applications.
- Proficient in design file management, traceability, revision control, and archival.
- Familiarity with all widely utilized design file types and formats for assemblies, parts, drawings, etc.
- Must have an AAS in design or related engineering discipline.
- Candidates with previous Fixture/Tooling design and GD&T is a HUGE plus.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

- Familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with CREO (ProE).
- Six (6+) years of experience in drafting/CAD in manufacturing applications.
