CAD Drafter

Yoh is currently hiring a CAD DRAFTER to join our client in the Omaha NE area. This is a 4-5 month long contract opportunity with a great company in your area.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The CAD Drafter prepares electrical drawings from prints or sketches and develops plan views, detail views, and electrical connection diagrams using standard industry practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Utilizes AutoCAD, appropriate templates, blocks, CAD standards, and standard industry drafting techniques to prepare detailed electrical drawings.
- Develops front layout views, one-lines, three-lines, control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Coordinates design development with assigned Project Engineer to resolve questions concerning design.
- Checks work for accuracy and completeness.
- Confers with Project Engineers and Electrical Designers to resolve questions concerning the design.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Two-year certificate from college or technical school in drafting with up to a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; one to four (1-4) years related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge and experience with Autodesk applications; AutoCAD (essential), Inventor (desired), and Vault (desired).
