CAD Designer - Electronics/Electrical - Marine

CAD Designer - Electronics/Electrical - Marine required for a leading global defence company based in Portsmouth/Portsdown. The candidate will be required to have CAD Design experience in regards to Marine Defence.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:- - To provide installation & maintenance support for the Shore Integration Facility at Portsdown Produce Installation Guidance Documentation for each system as required iaw Def Stan 2-40.
- Produce CAD drawings that form part of the SIF Datum Pack.
- To provide accurate installation documentation within tight timescales to meet the NCSISS programme.
- Successful candidate will have responsibility for producing Installation Guidance Packages in time for the installation of equipment as governed by the SIF Installation Programme, within the agreed timescales and as directed by the Installation Manager.
- To update and amend as necessary, the SIF Datum Pack Drawing & Documentation set.
- Develop knowledge of SIF Alarms & Warnings such as Fire Alarms, Lighting systems (normal, emergency and ducts) for inclusion in IGPs as required.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:- - AutoCAD 2014 Experience
- Dealt with Electronics/Electrical drawing
- Dealt with standards codes
- Experience of military cables & connectors including Fibre Optics and terminating techniques.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:- - Marine Electrical Installation experience
- JSP440 and JSP480- Standards
- SC Clearance
