CAD Designer

Our client in the Springfield MA area has an immediate need for a contract (4-6 months) AutoCAD 2011 Designer. Documentation includes P&IDs, schematics, wiring diagrams, loop wiring diagrams, assemblies, one lines, switch room diagrams, cable routing schedules, system equipment/route diagrams, architectural equipment layouts, mechanical details, site utilities, and any miscellaneous type drawings needed to support the Engineering staff. Must know the importance of applicable standards and can develop drawings mentioned to final issue with little or no supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD software, Version 2011.
- Design/Generate E&I documentation for various type of Chemical Process Industry projects within a project team environment with minimal supervision.
- Manage multiple projects.
- Revise existing drawings (mentioned below) per concept direction given by Solutia Engineering.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook email.
- Some working knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software.
- SAP experience

REQUIREMENTS

- Must be proficient with AutoCAD 2011
