JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for cabling and termination of Cat5, Cat6, and fiber cabling. The position includes the testing and troubleshooting of wiring problems.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Responsible for running new cabling.
- Termination and testing of new cabling.
- Responsible for testing and troubleshooting of cable.
- Leverages knowledge in structured cabling and other advanced technologies.
- Communicates effectively and appropriately when dealing with other departments and/or personnel at levels up to President.
- Demonstrates the initiative and creativity for self-development within and outside of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have knowledge of basic computer skills and be able to demonstrate good writing skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook very helpful
- Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment
- Must be knowledgeable in various wiring configurations and terminations
- Technical skills and knowledge of telecommunications industry and/or installation
