Cable Technician Job

CABLE TECHNICIAN, JUNIOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Portsmouth, VA.

POSSESSION OF A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE OR ABOVE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Experienced with installation, repair and maintenance of copper/fiber optic cabling
- Demonstrate understanding of TIA/EIA standards

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Install, repair and maintenance of copper/fiber optic cabling
- Provide connectivity to existing network and Legacy network
- Provide field services and infrastructure support for ship and barge moves with in shipyard/buildings and spaces.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must have a CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ OR CISSP
- Two to four (2-4) years of current experience
- Basic hand tools

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Familiarity with Military Protocol
- Military Information Technology experience
