CA GEN Developer

As a CA GEN DEVELOPER you will provide CA Gen development skills to the Application & Product Management Section of Information Technology Branch of a large Government organisation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work as part of an application project team which is responsible for the development of components developed using the CA Gen Toolset.
- Provide advice and assistance to Project Managers on technical issues affecting the project.
- Undertake activities toward the development of changes to CA Gen logical and the physical data models that will meet performance requirements.
- Develop and unit test application code ensuring conformance to specifications, standards and accepted practice.

YOUR SKILLS

- Demonstrated significant CA Gen design and construction knowledge and experience in versions 7 (including 3270, Batch and Server Procedure Development)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Client Server Encyclopaedias (CSE) and Information Engineering methodology
- Proven track record of delivering effective service in information technology functions.
- Good to have knowledge of OS390/CICS environment, DB2/Oracle databases, CBD, GuardIEn & CSE Edit and Web Client Enablement
