C# Web Developer

This position is an immediate opening for Senior Web Developer on a Contract, or Contract to Hire basis for the right person. Are you available tomorrow? Call us, we can get you into a great company quickly! You will be doing full life cycle C# development, from gathering requirements through implementation. We are looking for a Senior Developer using ASP.NET C#, SQL Server 2008+, and T-SQL. Having experience with any of the additional technologies in the environment would be helpful, such as: C++, Ajax, RSS, CSS, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, distributed application development, object modelling, testing and deployment and .NET Web Services. A true enjoyment of problem solving and the ability to confidently flow through rapid change are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Ensures that all code retains logical stability, reliability, confidentiality and integrity
*Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
*Create and execute feature test cases and ensure feature testing effectively validates that systems meet the functional and non-functional requirements
*Work with customers on defining requirements for features, reviewing design documents, and receiving customer acceptance test feedback to ensure expectations are exceeded

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or related field
*5+ years ASP.NET, C#
*5+ SQL Server experience including: design, TSQL and performance tuning
*Web 2.0 technologies such as: Web Services, Ajax, RSS, CSS, XML/XSLT, JavaScript
*Full Life Cycle Development (concept to deployment)
*Experience with integrating custom applications with existing applications and third-party software including coordination and development with customer IT
*Candidate must demonstrate a proven track record of obtaining results with minimal supervision
*Ability to work and travel in the United States and abroad (Occassional Travel)

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
*Experience in map integration (ie Bing Maps) including integration of 3rd party map components and map layering
*Experience with administrating IIS 7.0
*Experience with GIS
*Experience with Telerik control suite
*Proven experience in distributed application development
*Experience with C++ programming language and its integration with SQL Server database
*Demonstrated experience with SSRS
*Experience with Red Gate tools for capturing database differences
*Demonstrated experience with implementing data warehouses for data analysis and reporting purposes
*Excels in both written and interpersonal communication and be at ease with public speaking, relationship building, and collaboration in a cross-functional team comprised of diverse personalities, skill sets and levels of experience.

Local candidates are preferred because this company does not offer a relocation package, nor do they reimburse for travel expenses to the interview.
