My Client a top tier Investment Bank is looking for a Technical Team Lead to join their Prime Services Technology department. Prime Services is responsible for development and support of all Prime brokerage applications globally. It's a truly global department with main development and support centres inNew York,LondonandSingapore. Systems are a combination of in-house development and third-party packages, using a variety of technologies.

Main Function

The requirement is for a C++ Technical Team lead to work on an in house built system. The main functions are:

* Ability to develop on C++ server side and database components and a Linux platform
* Unit and Integration testing and support of System and UAT phases
* Would be expected to perform, steer and monitor all steps of the development lifecycle to deliver new versions and maintain in house system

Experience required:

* Must have Investment Banking Experience
* C++: Must have experience of writing multi threaded server programs - all work is Linux based.
* Database: Must have experience of using SQL
* Sybase: Experience of writing server applications would be DESIRABLE
* Experience of FIX
* Experience of inter process messaging technologies
* Ability to write stored procedures, multithreading, triggers and knowledge of optimisation techniques
