C# / SQL Developer

My client, a leading Asset Management organisation is looking to appoint a number of experienced contract and permanent C# / SQL Developers to join their Front Office projects team and the Quant Operations team.

As a Developer you will be responsible for completing detailed analysis, identifying an appropriate technical solution, complete the development, system test the solution and co-ordinate UAT.

Responsibilities will include implementing enhancements to thinkFolio which is the trading system for their Fixed Income, Equity and Multi-Manager business. You will work directly with the business users, business analysts and project managers to fully understand the business requirements.

We are looking for candidates with the following:

- Extensive software development experience with exposure to all phases of the SDLC
- Strong knowledge of object orientated design and development and use of design patterns
- Very strong C# (.Net 3.5 or higher)
- Services - Web, Windows, WCF
- GUI - Winforms, ASP.NET, WPF
- SQL server 2005 or higher
- Knowledge of Cadis or another ETL tool would be very beneficial
- Good experience with Order Management Systems, ideally thinkFolio

You will have a proven track record working in the financial services, Asset Management would be preferable.
