C++ Software Engineer - Urgent Contract role

A leader in the medical devices field is looking to hire an innovative C++ SOFTWARE ENGINEER to work on implementing their latest signal processing algorithms. This exciting role will give you the opportunity to work on a ground breaking new product, and work alongside experienced and talented algorithm, software and hardware teams. You will have the opportunity to impact and define the development of new innovative technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role would be develop and debug applications on Linux based medical device
The device application manages:
o Capture of medical data
o Communication of medical data to our Back End service
o User interface

REQUIREMENTS

- Relevant degree qualification in electronic engineering, computer science, or related field
- Proficient in the C++ programming language - 4-5 years recent development experience
- Experience of working in a structured software environment (eg, source control, bug tracking, unit test)
- Experience with Linux tools (GCC/Make)
- Experience with QT Framework
- Experience programming with Raspberry Pi (preferred)
- Willing to work on cross functional teams, eg, software, hardware, systems
