C++ Software Developer

DESCRIPTION:

- This team is responsible for developing and demonstrating automation technologies, which are often used in conjunction with information systems, remote control, semi autonomous, and fully autonomous machine control systems.
- The selected candidate will focus on the development of C++ software development for mining applications.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3 or more years post grad experience with C++ software development within any of the following areas: Computer Vision Image Processing Perception Algorithms Mission Planning Algorithms Machine Learning.
- Linux experience.
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with perception hardware/algorithms.
- Experience with GIT for software source code management.
- Experience with Matlab/Labview.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
- Team player and detail oriented.
- Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer generated reports.
- Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field.
