C++ Simulation Developer

For a big client of us in the Hague area we have got an opening for a contractor position for a period of six months, with the possibility for an extension. If you are a C++ developer with a real team player mindset then this is the perfect contracting opportunity for you.

You will assist the team in resolving, documenting simulation and tuning workflows and adapting and improving the implementation of numerical algorithms. You should be able to communicate fluently in English, have a proven 5+ experience in scientific and/or simulator software development, a background in computational science (physics, chemistry, biology), and have had exposure to the use of multiple programming languages, but at least be grounded in C++. Furthermore, experience with parallelization paradigms and parallel frameworks like OpenMP and MPI would be beneficial as is exposure to modern software development practices.
