C#, MVC, SQL Developer - Contract

C#.NET 4.0 or greater, web development using MVC3, strong SQL/MS SQL (T-SQL, stored procedures), Visual Studio 12/13, TFS and/or git, Windows/IIS, OOD, SharePoint Web Parts preferred.

This is a CONTRACT engagement (C2C, W2)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client seeks a .NET developer to support their Quality Assurance Program. QAP is a web based Quality Control/Quality Assurance application that provides web-enabled data entry of construction material test results. This position is for a .NET Developer with strong C# skills that has the experience and desire to work with clients to build business solutions and develop projects through their entire life cycle. This role reports to the Web Applications Supervisor and collaborates with other Web Services developers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

- Proven experience in the following: ASP.NET(C#), .NET 4.0 or greater is preferred
- Experience developing web applications using MVC3 or greater.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database technologies such as MS SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, and stored procedures, etc
- Proficiency using Visual Studio 2012/2013 and a Source Control Solution like Team Foundation Server and/or git
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting Windows/IIS platform experience is required
- Strong exposure to Object Oriented Design and development is required

PREFERED SKILLS:

- Experience using .NET technologies, such as: WCF, Entity Framework and LINQ
- Community based .NET frameworks like nLog, log4net, nunit, etc
- Experience in the development and support of SharePoint solutions, web parts, web services, and work flows
- BizTalk and/or InRule
