C++ Engineer

SOFTWARE ENGINEER - AMSTERDAM - FREELANCE

For a client in Eindhoven area we are looking for a software engineer that will work in a Linux environment. Initially this will be a contract position with the option to be hired as a permanent employee at a later stage.

The company is a market leading organization in chip-making technologies. As part of the development team, you will be responsible for developing software in different languages such as C/C++. Also, it is expected that you understand Embedded Linux Kernel and device drivers.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Strong knowledge of Linux, including Embedded linux, Kernel and device drivers
- At least 5 years of experience in C++/C
- You are familiar with GIT, SVN, Clearcase, etc
- Familiar with network protocols such as TCP/IP or others
- You are experienced with VxWorks configuration and development
- Solid knowledge of python or bash Scripting
- You are open to work on a permanent basis in the long run
