My client, a world renowned global organisation is seeking a Software Development Engineer with very strong C++ programming skills in a Unix/Linux environment. The successful candidate will have strong design and modelling skills.
Requirements for the role are as follows:
*Strong programming skills in C++/C in a Unix-like environment
*Strong design and modelling skills
*Multi-threading and events-based programming experience
*Experience with high availability system
*Experience with network protocols including IP, TCP, HTTP
*Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
*Linux system application development

*Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
*PostgreSQL or MySQL experience
*Cloud Computing experience
*Python and/or Perl Scripting
