C# Developer to join Diagnostics Start Up team

Responsibilities

In this position the candidate will be responsible for the design and development of a platform for the acquisition of high resolution fluorescent microscopy images, coordinating the microscope, cameras, stage and light source. The candidate must be able to understand existing C++ code, and create wrapper classes around hardware control modules responsible for the data acquisition process. The ideal candidate will have strong math skills and the ability to understand and implement complex algorithms.

Minimum requirements

* Strong experience with C#, C++, .NET 4.0+, VS2010+
* Experience with WPF, WCF, SQL, Prism, MEF, Unity, MVVM, Entity Framework 5.0, Enterprise Library a plus
* Solid understanding of good programming practices, architecture, design patterns and unit testing
* Experience in a regulated environment a big plus
* Experience with digital microscopy a big plus
* Ability to work with complex algorithms and implement them with managed code
* Ability to assimilate hardware vendor API's and documentation
* Instrument control experience using Firewire and Serial Ports
