SENIOR C# DEVELOPER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Santa Ana, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Under general direction, develops, codes, test, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software as part of a software product.
- Participates in the design, development and maintenance of software code for business applications.
- Contribute to full life cycle application development including user requirements, specifications, design, coding, testing, documentation, etc.
- Contributes to system documentation for systems, applications and databases.
- Preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written, designed, coded, tested and debugged.
- Consulting with users and develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation.
- May lead small projects or regularly coach other team members to ensure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.
- Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions.
- Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of C#, MVC, JQuery, WCF, and overall MS technologies
- Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design skills
- Basic database and SQL skills
- Basic Scripting language skills
- GIS or graphic experience
- Java or C# a plus
- Good communication skill
- Must display high integrity, initiative and be a proactive thinker
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Must be goal oriented, self-motivated, and have excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Positive team player with a great work ethic and the ability to work independently five to seven (5 - 7) years of software development.
