C# Developer - eFX Low Latency - £650

C# .NET 4.0, Multi-threading, Low Latency development, WCF, WPF, XML, LINQ, Messaging, Tibco, Solace, C++, SQL Server, Oracle, Distributed Systems, Caching, Coherence

A server side C# expert is required by a leading investment bank based in London to join their Foreign Exchange team working on a low latency trading platform. Developers will be responsible for building out a suite of pricing, risk and trading components against the platform.

Candidates are expected to have worked on front office low latency trading systems extensively and ideally hold knowledge of FIX and Exchange Connectivity. From a technical perspective, experience of C# .NET 4.0, Multi-threading, Low Latency development, WCF, WPF, XML, LINQ and Messaging middleware are all essential. C++, SQL Server, Oracle and/ or Coherence would be a bonus but are not mandatory.

The suite of products will span front to back C#. The work is predominantly server side based but there will be times where WPF GUI development will come into play. In summary server side skills are more important but at the very least some experience of developing WPF applications is required.

From a business perspective, experience of FX products (Spots, Forwards, Options) would be ideal. Failing that general knowledge of algorithmic trading and volatility would suffice.
