C++ Developer - Data Flows

emagine is seeking an experienced C++ Developer for our client the world's leading developer of Software for the Travel Industry. The project is the migration of a major booking system into new open standards. Working with the development team the role is to capture and analyse the data-flows of the systems and ensuring accuracy and consistence in the new system. This includes: - Back End Migration - Comparison of parallel runs - Identification and resolution of performance issues - Building new feeder interfaces.

Technical Environment:
C++;
UML;
Oracle;
Linux.

The key tasks are:
Creation of OO templates;
C++ Development and Coding;
Performance issue resolution.

Experience required includes:
3 - 5 years' development of C++;
OO environment;
Data Flow performance resolution;
Degree in Computing or similar;
Working in an international environment;
Fluency in English (French is nice to have).

Must have skills:
C++;
SQL;
PL/SQL.
