C# Developer - Banking & Finance

This major player in the Global Banking and Finance sector is looking for a C# Developer for a 6 month contract in their Dublin office.

The C# Developer will be part of an exciting and growing team with a strong possibility for long term contract extensions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for all development and post-development phases of systems development including: analysis and design, development, testing and deployment.
The candidate will be expected to undertake complex technical development and leverage resources from within and outside the team to complete critical tasks.
The candidate will be expected to provide development sizing and estimation and support requirements gathering.
Daily production support and some weekend support will be expected of the candidate as well.
Work with technical and business support teams to triage issues reported by electronic banking users.

Key Skills

Knowledge of the following is a MUST

Strong development experience with .NET C# 3.5 (ASP.NET/Web Development, WCF - Web Services Development)
Strong development experience in SQL Server 2008 and knowledge of database design and performance.
Strong knowledge of Web Standards and Technologies (JQuery, CSS,JavaScript) and patterns (MVC).
Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
