TheOpportunity

Software Engineer - (C, C++, API's and Audio) is needed by my leading client, a top software house urgently seeks a Software Engineer - (C, C++, API's and Audio) to work in the experienced Development team based inLondon. The chosen Software Engineer - (C, C++, API's and Audio) must have experience of Developing in C/C++ API's

The successful Software Engineer - (C, C++, API's and Audio) will join the Development working on a global project for the business, including the SDK audio libraries and tools

The Scope
- Demonstrable C/C++ skills and structured programming techniques (2+ years)
- Strong understanding of audio programming APIs (for example, OpenAL or XAudio)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills

Desirable:

- Computer Science or Engineering Degree - 1st or 2:1 or further post graduate qualifications
- Audio development on PlayStation platform(s)
- Games development background or any other console development (especially in audio programming)
- C# programming experience
- Previous audio DSP algorithm experience
- Interest in computer games and audio technology

Salary:

£40,000 - £50,000 + Bens
