C# Developer (3169917)

Our client a major investment bank is looking for a C# developer to join their commodities IT team.

Rate: $75-$80 per hour
Type: C2C
Location: NYC
Length: 10 Months

Daily activities

User support (FO/MO/BO) 40%

a) Troubleshooting code base developed by our global team or inherited from other teams or vendors(must have experience in direct interaction with end-users)

b) Coordinating other teams on outstanding queries (must be familiar with issue reporting/tracking processes)

Development (mid/small projects)

a) New development (C#/MS-SQL) (new functionality to the FO/MO/BO tools and processes, migration of legacy processes to new platform)

b) Fixes/small changes to legacy code base(Java/VBA/Oracle) (vendor booking systems (Murex/Triple Point), mid and back office validation and reconciliation processes, etc.)

Required Skills:

- The Ideal candidate would be a developer with 5-10 years experience who's done Java in the past but is currently doing C#.Net (for the last 2 years)
- Knows SQL well and is comfortable doing support for the system (40%)
- Commodity Background is a huge plus (if not finance is important)
- Experience with (Triple Point system) experience background is definitely a huge plus.
