C++ Developer - 12 Months - Glasgow City Centre

I am recruiting for an experienced C++ Developer for an initial 12 month contract based in Glasgow City Centre for one of Harvey Nash's leading Financial Sector clients.

You will be joining a skilled team focused on building world class electronic market-making and trading systems, responsible for developing a system to provide Real Time prices for a variety of asset classes and use cases. You must be comfortable working with systems which combine scalability, performance, and reliability as this system is available for use 24 hours a day. You must have a track record analysing problems, proposing high quality solutions and be confident delivering excellent code.

Solid C++ development experience, including template programming and threading is essential to be considered for the role. Experience with Scripting languages (ideally Perl), Boost libraries, and Java development would be advantageous, alongside experience with Sybase or a similar relational database. You must have previously worked in a Linux environment.
